Biography

Aisha Saintiche is a born and raised Montrealer who thrives on family, friends, and purposeful work.

Like many, Aisha wears different hats on any given day. She is a Strategic Advisor for the Community and Health Services Department for the Regional Municipality of York where she leads a number of portfolios including Diversity & Inclusion, Mental Health, Staff Engagement and Leadership Development.

Outside of office hours, she shifts into her purpose work as a Certified Health Coach and owner of MetoMoi Health Coaching. With over fifteen years of professional experience, Aisha brings her wealth of knowledge and experience to understand the complexity and intersectionality of the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual barriers that keep people from achieving their optimized desired state.

Further to this Aisha holds a B.A. in Honours Political Science, a Masters in Public Policy Administration and Law, as well as a certification in Change Management, Advanced Crisis Intervention and Counselling and Health Coaching.

Aisha is truly passionate about life and continues to seek opportunities to bring about change and does so by being an active member and Board of Director for the Woman Abuse Council of Toronto (WomanACT) and Afiwi Groove School, which is a dance school that educates children of the African diaspora and community at large about black history through African arts and culture.
