The COC Education, Youth and Community Outreach team invites all Team Canada Olympians to join us in celebrating Olympic Day throughout the months of May and June.
The International Olympic Day (June 23) commemorates the creation of modern Olympic Games, promotes the Olympic values and encourages everyone around the world to participate in sports – no matter their age, gender or athletic ability.
Olympians are invited to Olympic Day to interact with young event participants, share stories of your Olympic journey and take part in different sport activities throughout the day.
We are looking local Team Canada Olympians to join us at the following events:
May 2nd and 3rd – Bridgewater, Nova Scotia
We are recruiting local 3 Olympians!
Organized in conjunction with Sport Nova Scotia

Honorarium: $250 per day
May 31st – Montreal, QC
We are recruiting 10 Olympians!
Organized in conjunction with the Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Québec)
RSVP by May 10th, 2019
Honorarium: $250
June 2nd & 3rd – St. John’s, NL
We are recruiting local 2 Olympians!
Organized in conjunction with Sport Newfoundland and Labrador, as part of Sport Fest
RSVP by May 10th, 2019
Honorarium: $250 per day
June 7th – Richmond, BC
We are recruiting 10 Olympians!
Organized in conjunction with the Richmond Olympic Oval and ViaSport

To participate in these events please RSVP to OLY@olympic.ca with the event location and date. Please note that priority will be given to Olympians who have never participated in an Olympic Day Celebration before, as well as to local Olympians.
