The OLY Canada Commission is the National Olympian Association of Canada fully supported and in partnership with the COC aiming to spread the spirit of Olympism throughout our country. In 2021, Canada restructured the formal Olympians Canada to become the OLY Canada Commission as the new National Olympians Association of Canada. This Commission is integrated into the COC to represent the voices of Legacy Olympians and represent Canada within the World Olympians Association. The commission aims to provide insight from the perspective of distinguished Olympians regarding various COC OLY Legacy programs with the objectives listed below.

- To provide input to the COC on matters relating to Canadian OLYs;
- To unite and grow the community of Canadian OLYs;
- To promote and support the Olympic movement both in Canada and internationally;

ELECTION DETAILS AND MEMBERS
The Commission and Team Canada Olympians shall be electing two (2) new members this Fall, which shall take place in the following way:

- One (1) Commission members will be elected in each of the following classes of Retired Team Canada Olympians;
- Team Canada Olympians who have retired from sport and have competed in an Olympic Games in the last ten (10) years;
- Team Canada Olympians who have retired from sport and have not competed in the Olympic Games for a minimum of ten (10) years.
- One (1) Commission members will be elected in each of the following classes of Retired Team Canada Olympians;
The Term for Elected Members shall be four (4) years.
