IOC Climate Action Awards 2023
Climate change is increasingly affecting the global athlete community, with rising temperatures and extreme weather conditions across the globe making it harder to practice winter sports and causing some summer competitions to take place in extreme heat and humidity. As athletes and role models within your community, you can lead by example and inspire others to make sustainable changes.
That’s why the IOC are launching the Climate Action Awards, an initiative supported by Worldwide Olympic Partners (TOP) Airbnb, Deloitte and P&G to celebrate the initiatives that athletes and other Olympic Movement stakeholders have been implementing in the areas of sustainable travel, innovation and advocacy.

The RBC Olympians program is accepting new athletes in 2023!
The RBC Olympians program is a national initiative that supports Canadian Olympic and Para athletes through different stages of their athletic careers. In addition to financial support, RBC provides opportunities for personal brand exposure, professional skills development and, for select athletes, valuable career experience they can attain while training in a flexible work environment. RBC Olympians will also act as community ambassadors, spreading the Olympic messages of teamwork, excellence, commitment, and leadership to communities across Canada.

Athlete Grocery Card: Beijing 2022 Athletes
Dear Beijing Athlete,
We hope you’ve enjoyed using your Sobeys Athlete Grocery Card over the past year! Please note that this will be the final communication reminding you that as of end of day March 31st, 2023 all unused funds will be pulled from your Athlete Grocery Card and will be pooled into a donation to the COPSI network.
As a reminder, this card is redeemable at all Sobeys Inc. stores across Canada including: Sobeys, Safeway, IGA, IGA extra, Garden Market IGA, Foodland, FreshCo, Chalo! FreshCo, and Thrifty Foods.
As of end of day March 31st, 2023 your Sobeys Athlete Grocery will no longer work in-store.

Last call for application for IOA Young Olympic Ambassador Session – April 3rd Deadline
Reminder – The COC will be sending three representatives between the ages of 20 and 30 to Olympia, Greece to participate in the annual Young Olympic Ambassadors Session (YOA) at the International Olympic Academy (IOA).
This year’s session will take place from June 10-22, 2023 and will focus on “Renewal and rejuvenation: How can the Olympic Movement remain relevant to youth through physical education and Olympic values education”.
